I'm looking for a web hosting option that let's me have a domain name and allows PHP/MySQL on the server. Anyone know any good ones to look at?

I think most hosts allow php/my sql on there, so no problem there.

I've used godaddy in the past with no problems.  I know some people don't care for them, but I've run forums, apps and plain jane websites with no issues.

I'm using servergrid. Do not, under any circumstance, use servergrid. They resell under a lot of names - so watch out.

Lunarpages

Been with them for years. They have what you want and much, much more.

I have been with then a year and have been very happy. They are transparent in what they do as a company and let you know everything that is happening. They are a small company though. A+ in my book.  (coming from a guy who was in the web hosting business for 6 years)

I've been with myhosting.com and site5.com for a long time. So long, in fact, with the former that I couldn't tell you how long. Prior to 1999 for sure. Hurricane Electric isn't bad either.

My brother had some issues with Brinkster in the past few weeks and moved his domains.

ETA: Sorry. It appears I mis-spoke. He's fine with Brinkster. He had problems with mapname (formerly Dew Designs).
