Anyone know how to configure firefox to open a new tab in your current browser window when you click on the desktop shortcut? I went through the options and can't seem to peg it. Thanks.

What I mean is, if I have ARF open in this window minimized, and I click the Firefox shortcut I can see on my desktop, can I configure ff to open in this window as a new tab?

Right-Click, -"Open link in new tab"?

Why open Firefox if you already have it running. If you just want another page, drag down a link for google or your homepage into your bookmarks toolbar.

I'm not sure why you would click the destop for a new tab.  You can double click in the empty space next to your current tab, and a new empty tab will open.  CTL+T also works.
