http://store.apple.com/us/browse/home/shop_ipod/family/ipod_touch This thing is pretty cool. Is it possible to download TV shows right from the CBS/NBC/ABC/Fox web sites onto the iPod Touch? How about the DVD movies I already own? Am I going to end up going broke downloading content for this thing? |

Everything has to be downloaded through iTunes. The question is getting your content that you want onto iTunes. For movies that you already own, if you have a mac, you can use an app called handbrake to rip them movies into a format that you can import into iTunes. Then iTunes syncs the movies onto your touch. With the newest version of the iPod/iPhone OS, there is an app store icon that is added to the home screen. I'm not sure if you can purchase movies/music straight from that, I think you can, but not 100% sure. As far as going to a website like Foxnews and downloading it straight to your touch, highly doubt it. Apple is really strange like that in the fact they want to have complete control on what you put on there, hence why they force you to use iTunes for everything content related. Now of course, there are work arounds like Handbrake, but you just have to search a little. |

torents will be your friend search for tv shows or movies in mp4 format.. DL < for free..> then add to your libary.. then sync., i DLed 6 movies last night . dont know if given the site on OK with arfcom so i will simply say remember .. speak like a prirate bay..er i mean day
