| I own the Logitech Z-5500 5.1 surround speaker system and I connect my XBOX 360 to it for gaming. The last time I used it was on Tuesday evening and everything was fine. I tried to turn on the system yesterday and it didn't power on. I thought the batteries on the remote were dead so I tried the power button. No luck. I tried the remote on the Z-680 (previous gen of the Z-5500) and it powers on. I have the Z-5500 connected to a monster cable surge protector so it couldn't be a power surge I don't think. I looked at the fuse and it looked burnt out. I went to Radio Shack to replace the fuse and when I turned it on no power was going to the control unit. I will call Logitech tomorrow as their customer support office has closed already. Has anyone else who owns a Z-5500 encountered a problem like this or recommend a better system if my unit is indeed dead? |
