I was given an older ibm thats running win2k.. The guy that gave it to me was using it as a printer server and set it up using vnc.  I would like to set it up as a home server (or at least try) /firewall.  I can eventually get a free monitor if need be but I would rather not due to the space required.  How can I get this set up?.. I do not know any other info about the machine.. I have a crossover cable and would like to just use that... Any hints from the almighty hive?
Thanks!

i only know how to do remote command line installs for os x so no hints, but a couple key questions.

do you want to go through the set-up without a monitor, or just run it without after installation?

will it have the previous owners os and vnc installed or will you want to configure something similar?

Answering those questions, it becomes apparent to me that I need a monitor..
Thanks anyways!
