| Guys, I have a flat panel monitor that I don't use anymore now that I bought a laptop, but I want to use it as a little TV and to hook up my playststion to. It got the typical plugs that a computer has, is this possible to do? |

You will need a composite video to VGA converter box to hookup something like a playstation. For cable tv you will need the box plus a tuner box that has composite video out. See this: www.svideo.com/video2vga.html www.ramelectronics.net/audio-video/video-converters/composite-video-to-vga/composite-video-converter-40-889/prod40889.html Don't forget about speakers or something for sound. -Foxxz |
What would I need if I want to use the computer (desktop) and the monitor like normal? Can I hook up tv and PS to the tower? |
You can add a tv tuner card to the tower to run cable tv through it, I think you could probably who a console upto that but don't quote me on that. Monitors are also pretty cheap now a days you could look for one with vga and dvi or hdmi inputs, I just ordered one with HDMI to run my xbox in my office. |
