Buddy of mine has reason to believe his wife is "talking to someone else".
She's all of a sudden changed email addresses, and while they used to share the old email, he has no access to the new one. Of course there's other signs, but apparently they communicate via email/IM

I know it's been posted before, but does anyone know of a decent (free) key logger that can remain undetected?  (and does not get picked up by virus scanners...)

There are SERIOUS issues involved in using a keylogger / monitoring software on a computer shared by adults.

Guy in Austin just got a felony convictions and several years in prison for doing that to his soon to be ex wife.

check with a LAWYER or PI BEFORE you do anything!

We have E-blaster on our Kids computers (legal as they are minors)

The friend should bail, eject or run Forrest run.  No piece of pie is tasty when the distrust has formed.  A good bye bang and adios MF'r.

For information only; there are devices which are installed inline with the keyboard and store a certain amount of keystrokes, they can be had for $80-$150 depending on your needs.

We use WinSpy to keep an eye on what the kids do online. It takes screen shots, has a keystroke logger and can send the harvested data to a remote location.

I'd have no problem installing this to keep an eye on a wayward spouse. Use it to confirm suspicions, then hire a pro to get the proof, if wiretapping laws are against you.

Good luck.
