anyone willing to call and walk me through it.. having problems says I am connected but explorer wont open any windows it is my neighbors wireless so not sure it is locked or what.. I tried it on tmobile at starbucks today and worked like a champ help |

just bought this new to me computer tried it this am at starbucks, had to buy tmoble time workd fine got it home, started it up.. says I have a live connection not looking to pirate but,,its here,,its open linksys i think but window wont open? not trying to theive honestly if that is the question.. but, hell free is free thanks |

guess I should have made it clearer..I have permission from the neighbor...as of last night thanks for your help though anyone else,,I have just tried to use a hotel freenet access..linksys (sp) and computer locked up... 3x gave upp works fine with tmobile at starbucks hitting the road for aweek wednesday, hopeing to use wireles at hotels along the way..thanks |

So your neighbor pays monthly for internet, you asked to use their connection, and they were just like, "Sure you can use it, I like paying so that other people can mooch off me"? You must have one cool neighbor. Btw...if you have permission to use the network, whether it's "locked" or not shouldn't be a problem because you could go and ask them for the network security info... |

ya know,,I was just trying to get a computer ready to hit the road with.. hopeing to get some info so I didnt have to run to dell , a challange to a guy with a cane and a bad walk..its halfway inside a large mall here you think I had asked how to rape a baby for christs sake.. I even went to my daughters house and couldnt get on her wifi connection so,,lneed a new wireless card installed...just needed some one to tell me that... thanks for nada Last time aI will dare to enter this forum |
