| Is there a way to save XP updates to disk? As in, for later use when the updates are no longer available. I just want to know even if I upgrade to a new OS by then. I just want to know if I can and how. |

you can order sp2 on cd microsoft there is a poster that knows how to do it. his name starts with an A  i don't remember it exactly, hopefully he will show up for ya

| all of the updates are available as standalone downloads. You can also grab them off the hard drive before you reboot, but that's a little tricky. |
