Whats good in the $50-75 range other than Microsoft? My latest MS Ergo corded went berserk tonite. I'd had scrolling problems lately and thought it was the mouse but a couple hours ago the keyboard quit working correctly. Hit the "M" key for example and the browser would close, hit "P" and my email program would open. Plus my mouse click commands would sometimes work, but usually not. Rather than scrolling,my mouse would zoom. I tried another keyboard AND mouse, but no go. It took 1/2 hr to get system restore to roll back a day and plugged in a cheapo Dell board and it worked fine, including scrolling with the board and mouse. Plugged in the old board and everything was screwed up again until I SRed and went back to the Dell. Weird but WTF ever. As the MS board was only 6 months old I think maybe I'll try a wireless Logitech, unless somebodies got a better suggestion? ETA I think I'v settled on this one. Don't really need the mouse but it looks like an updated version to the LX7 I'v got. Logitech keyboard & Mouse |

Found this one @ walmart. Works fine, and the backlit feature is nice. saitekusa.stores.yahoo.net/eclipse.html |
I'm actually using that one right now on my main rig. It's...OK. The wrist wrest is kinda chintzy. I agree that the backlight is nice, especially if you're like me and prefer to use PC's in dimmer environments. My brother has the gaming model with the breakout hot-key pad which I'll warn against. The driver support sucks. |
