| I'm looking for newsgroups with movies (please no lectures....movies which are old). Can someone point me to the names of the newsgroups for finding these movies? A pm or email would be great too. Thanks a lot in advance. |
if you are looking for copyrighted feature length films to download at no charge and then illegaly burn to dvd or retain on your hard drive, i'm not sure newsgroups are the best way to go. the technology is rather archaic. i could be wrong, but you'd probably have better luck reseraching torrents.

Very unlikely. It's the small minority of people that actually get so much as a letter, much less in trouble, especially a.) for older movies, b.) using modern BT clients, and c.) if you take some extra precautions such as using NAT and/or PeerGuardian. YMMV, of course. |
Depends on your ISP :) I've been downloading movies, songs, games, etc, etc, with torrents when they first came out. No letters, no calls... just happy downloading. It is really the only way to download stuff anymore that is worth it.  -d |
