[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Firefox jumping issue

The other day we had a little power blip when I restarted the computer Firefox had a little jump in what ever site I am on.......just a little bump up and down, I tried uninstalling, searched for all Firefox items on the computer,deleted them all downloaded it again , installed it and it still does it!!

Any Ideas

IE7 does not do it on the same computer and I have no other issues

I have done a virus scan several times with no items found

I am running Vista 32 bit

When you reinstalled, were your bookmarks still there?

No
They were not there when I started it up after the power blip

a little jump/scroll when you try to click a link? thats what mine does.

Mine does that too.

To the OP: maybe mouse-related? Check that angle.
