This is pretty specialized stuff, but I'm hoping there just may be someone here who knows someone's brother's business partner who just happens to be a Plone developer etc. It looks as if I may be asked to transition several websites to the Plone content management system and coordinate development of some needed custom web applications. It's not really my area of focus, but someone found out I tinker with the stuff on the side and there is nobody else here even close to being able to run the projects. If I can get them started in the right direction until the plans become more clear, I'd be happy. An area I dont know nearly enough about is the commercial landscape for Plone developers. Tinkering with it for my own amusement has not provided the needed business angles for me to feel comfortble. I have several requests for info out to firms that I think woudl be useful, but I'd love to have someone to go to who aleady knows the development costs and possibilities. It's a fairly well funded project, so I'm not expecting free advice...just a fast track connection to useful information. thx. |
