Here's my build

OKIA 420W PSU
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
Gigabyte 3D rocket II heatsink/fan
Asus A8N32-SLI deluxe
1GB Corsair PC3200
GeForce 6200 LE vid card (I went cheap)

My 20 pin connector is attached, as well as the ATX 4 pin and the "e-z plug" 12V... connector. I have reseated and tried the other PCI slot...no luck...still will not turn on the monitor.

Here is my problem .....I can't install the mobo drivers (or video drivers) because I cannot see, without the video drivers the card will not work....

How can I get around this?
I have no other system (that can handle a PCI Express card) to test the card.... and I do NOT have onboard video.

Any suggestions?
I do have an idea, but not sure it will work. Can I take my hdd and install in another system... install the vid drivers and then swap back?

If you don't see a video image when the PC boots then it's nothing to do with drivers. The PC will start and display something without a hard disk fitted, let alone an operating system.

Does the machine beep a code when it starts?
Does your monitor have more than one video input? (If so, is the correct one selected?)

It works now.... I failed to see the part in the manual that says have 2 Heinekens and retry everything you tried before.

Thanks for your help.

A double shot of 80+ proof will work faster...

BTW you are going to be really sorry about that 6200.

I have one with 512MB and it is soooo weak compaired to a basic 128mb 6600.

I went cheap.... I don't play computer games; now that I have a system that can handle them I may check out a few to see how it is.
