Picked up Dead Man's Hand for cheap last week.  System specs say it will work with Win 98/ME/2000/XP.  Loaded the game just fine.  When I try to play it it says it is not compatible with this version of Windows and to click OK to continue anyways.  I click OK and nothing happens.  When I try to run the game from the desktop shortcut nothing happens.

Any thoughts?

Guess that would be some important info.  I'm running XP Home on my laptop.  My brother tried it on his machine and he is running XP Pro and had the same issue.
