I got a new laptop and I dont like having to click on my user name every time I un-hibernate the computer. Is there a way I can make it just wake up and not goto that screen as I'm the only user and dont need to password protect my laptop?
Thanks

Start> Control Panel> Display> Screen Saver tab

Uncheck the box beside “On resume, display Welcome screen”

It says "On resume, password protect." I couldnt find the welcome screen settings. My pc also says "...password protect" and it doesnt display the welcome screen. The only account active is mine, the guest account is turned off.

Go to your screen saver settings and unclick where it says "on resume password protect".

It's not checked but I still get the welcome screen, I suppose I will just have to deal with it.
Thanks for the replies.
