Hope I got the right forum. The other section was mostly computer games from what I can gather.

I've read some reviews of the keyboards on NewEgg, and Im not impressed. Does anyone make a decent illuminated keyboard?

Logitech G15 gaming keyboard. Best you can buy.

Not in stock at newegg however. Some other places (like crazypc.com) might have it though. Awesome keyboard.

I looked at the Saitek and was about to ask if anyone had a keyboard with red backlighting. And BAM, there's your post.

Do you use one? How do you like it? What's the key click like (soft, stiff, muted, clicky)?

Best there is in illuminated keyboards - the logitech G15 -

Sorry you cant see the LCD screen. It shows various information, like track info from media player, scores from games, CPU and RAM utilization.

It also has 3 different brightness levels, and two USB ports. The 18 programmable macro keys come in handy for games as well. Google it and check out some reviews.
