Well from 80k  virus earlier today.   to building a 3800 X2 AMD system 1gb of ram,  dvd_+rw drive 160GB SATA seagate hd.   went to install windows media edition and it wouldn't see the hardrive.  So i doubled checked the bios settings, tried a different data and power cable.  still doesn't see the drive. luckily i had another sata drive, hooked it up and it works.      have had a seagate DOA like that before.    guess it was bound to happen sooner or later
