Yes, it's a free game.
Yes, I expect it to perform normally. I cannot reliably connect and then hold my connection to the game server. In well over 50% (probably closer to 80-90%) of the games I try to play, either I cannot get a connection or lose it before the game ends. Each lost connection looks like a lost game in the game statistics. Anyone else have this trouble? Any idea what's wrong? Is it me or the server? Is there a fix? |

It's really hard to tell you what you might try. What you are describing could be exactly what the other poster suggested. In which case, you have no control over it and you'll have to wait for it to clear or for Grampy BGP to hook you up with a new path.
Aside from that it could be: NIC driver, Windows Update to fix or remove issues, WMI issues, install issue, 3rd party anti-virus software or other security crap, the list goes on. You might try reinstalling the game from the control panel since it's part of the Windows game software that came with your computer. Does it give you any error messages or codes that look like hex? Something like 0x80041006? Without a lot more detail no one will be able to do more than toss out random guesswork. Did you try searching for your issue on Google? If it isn't some rare, specific-to-you one-off problem, chances are it's happened to someone else and has been fixed. |

Otherwise, PC endlessly tries to connect and update to no avail. This slows PC to a crawl. It does give error codes but I did not write them down. I will go search for a cause and remedy elsewhere. So, no one here has this problem, eh? |
