so got a pi3 and some accessories to play with, and successfully have it logging a few temperature probes to a csv. Gave up for now on figuring out how to get gspread to work with oauth, the tutorials all seem out of date or half complete.
Been watching videos etc, but once you get past the turn on a led and button most of em don't actually explain much python, just tell you how to do it, so I feel I am not really learning it, what is a good actual basic python or pi book or set of tutorial that teaches you how you are doing something not just tells you what to do? |
It sounds like you know way more than I do, so this might not be much help! 
I started learning Python last year with a free course at https://www.codecademy.com/learn/python, and it seemed like a great way to learn and understand Python. I planned to use it on my Pi 2 eventually but ended up dropping it all and moving on to other things. Hopefully I'll get back to it again one of these days. |
