I have friends that own a bar. They want cameras outside. At least 4. Pretty small building so it would be best if it were wireless. What I am looking for is something with wireless cameras, and a small reciever/recorder that can be hidden, or a system that can record to a network hard drive that can be hidden. Any suggestions?

My only suggestion is to change your requirements.  Wireless cameras will fail when you need them the most.  It is well worth the time invested to run cable drops to each camera location.

There are a multitude of chinese cameras on the market with generally acceptable quality.  Hikvision, Dahua, etc., have all been good to go with a nice price range.  I wouldn't purchase lower than 2MP and wouldn't purchase more than 4MP.

For your use case I wouldn't use a PC based NVR.  Instead I would purchase on NVR from the same manufacturer of the cameras you select.  This will be a little more costly than some of the other alternatives out there but it will likely save you the headache of babysitting the system.

As a general piece of advice.  When it comes to your business, don't half-ass things to save a few bucks.  The "cheap" solution almost ALWAYS winds up costing way more in time and effort with real dollar values that far exceed whatever amount you saved.

I have this system and it works great. Very easy to install and set up.
