I never connect to any public wifi due to security concerns but I sometimes work in an area where the 4G is weak and very slow, recently the business next door installed public wifi and I'd like to take advantage of it. I need a solid VPN app that's easy to set up and turn on/off.

Any ideas??

Are you just looking for a VPN client or are you looking for a provider as well?

I've used Private Internet Access for a couple of years. I use it on my Macbook Pro, iPhone, and Linux laptop. I also used it on my Android when I had one.

Another vote for Private Internet Access. The Android VPN is very easy to use. It only uses a little bit of battery. I leave mine running all the time, even when on my home WiFi or on 4G. I also use it to access ARFcom at work, where it's blocked.
