I keep getting a "Displayport Link Issue" warning message from ATI's catalyst drivers. It won't let me go above a 1920x1080 resolution even though the monitor is capable of going to 4K res.

I have 2 monitors, one hooked up via DVI and one via Mini display port. The GPU is a ATI 6950 (2gb).

This setup used to work fine on my old computer running a X38 chipset motherboard (Q9450 quadcore).

I upgraded my computer to a Z97 (i5 4690K) today, and I'm getting the issue. Latest drivers and Windows 8.1 updates installed.

Any suggestions?

Might need a Dual-Link DVI to support that high of a res on a single monitor.  Might not be enough bandwidth to support it on dual displays.

One of my cowokers had to get an active display port to Dual Link DVI adapter to get it to work on his huge monitor.
