I have a G5 that works, but I've taken the hard drive out of it.

What is the value "as is"?

My first inclination is $87...

I you stick an old HD in it and install Mac OS so it's functional you could probably get $50 on craigslist.

Check what they've sold for on eBay recently.

I would agree that you will get more for it with a hard drive and OS X installed.

As is, maybe $20 for parts. Running, maybe $40-$50. Check eBay or Craigslist.
