Looking to branch out and try some mining. Which is recommended more these days. There was a newer thread in gd in the past month but I can't seem to find it.
Btw one of my buddies just ordered some litecoin miners for ~150.00 to try them out. |

Ho-boy... Well, by this point, the chances of getting very much out of bitcoin mining without lots of ASICs is going to be slim. Then you have to factor in your additional cost of electricity after you buy the ASICs. You would be better of going with litecoin or maybe even some of the alt coins and just sell them for btc or ltc. Not sure how familiar you are with the network/protocol. Do you have questions you have about how they work? |
