Howdy all. A friend hooked me up with a rebuilt computer. came with a laser mouse. Its driving me bug shit crazy. Can I just get and old school mouse and plug it in or will the computer not "Reconize" it?

Yup, a regular old mouse should work just fine. You must identify the type of plug your computer has for the mouse, either a PS2 (round) plug or a USB (flat) plug. A USB mouse will work either way assuming you have USB ports, however a PS2 mouse will only work if you have a PS2 port. I am assuming that your computer has windoze on it. |
