Anyone ever done this? I need to keep my kids from using up all my paper and ink so when I need to print something I can.

Thanks fore any help.

I also posted this in GD for more exposure but I know I'll probably get less rif raf in here.

Google sez: 2 ways

1) Setup a user account for the kids, but deny that account the ability to print.

2) Commercial program like Amanda Groups  http://printerpassword.com/
(I've never tried this - Caveat Emptor!)

And there's the ever popular: Set the default printer to a printer driver that is not active, like one that points to a LPT port instead of a USB port.
Then you can come home to a printer that has 70 documents waiting to print! (If it doesn't work the first time, try and try again.)

What model printer is it?  It may have built-in admin tools already.
