I purchased a laptop a couple of weeks ago.  It's nothing special, an Asus i5 6gb running Win 8 home x64.  I'm having a problem that I have not ran across before.  The laptop will change the date to the previous day.  I thought it could be a battery issue at first, but the time is always right, just the date is changed.  I can't tell when it changes like at a restart or shutdown or unplugging power.  It seems random. Has anyone else ran into this problem?  I haven't found a lot of info on it through Google.

It may have something to do with daylight saving time settings and the settings to automatically synchronize with a web based time server.

Thanks for the reply.  I manually resynced the time and verified Daylight Savings was checked.  We'll see what happens.
