Truth in advertising: I have done very, very little in the way of web design so could use a hand.



There are two instances in which it would be very helpful to have a scheduling system. One is a church application (somewhat complex) and the other is my oldest daughter's babysitting website (not so complex). Neither one is a paying job.



The church scenario is as follows:

- should be capable of handling volunteer teams (creating, modifying, etc)

- should be capable of scheduling those teams

- should be capable of sending schedule reminders to the various teams at customizable intervals



I would like to help my daughter get her website set up so that her availability schedule is viewable by parents who have a login. The schedule would only have to display time that she is available, and she should have the ability to easily edit as her availability changes. This would enable them to plan their time more efficiently and would avoid unnecessary phone calls ... theoretically.



Ideas? Platforms? Something like Drupal? (I've tried searching Drupal, but I think I must be using the wrong search terms.)
