In h4 I've entered. =mod(e4,g4) all I get is ######
E4 = 429 g4 = 14.26
What am I doing wrong?

I changed h4 to number format and get 3.86. It should be 30.08
I'm trying to divide mileage by gas used for mpg.
I'll be the 1st to admit my math skills and spread sheet skils are weak.

MPG is Miles/gallons, right?
429/14.26=30.08
=+e4/g4
Am I missing something here?

I used your formula =+ and that worked. thanks!

So in 429 miles of all freeway driving at speeds of ~75 mph I got 30.08 mpg in a full sized car, a Toyota Avalon.
