I have an unused android phone using IP webcam. When on I can pull up the camera as long as I'm on my wifi network. My problem is that I want to be able to view it when I'm out of the house. My router settings don't include any port forwarding function. Tech support suggested using a virtual server weren't allowed to help set one up. So I'm kinda stuck does anyone have an idea on how to make this work?

Unfortunately the easiest option is to replace your router with one that has the port forwarding option, and then get a static address from your ISP or use DDNS.
What kind of router do you have? Port forwarding has been standard on most entry level routers for quite some time. |

that thread shows all about the 1704 virtual part. you could also set that camera up to be on DMZ |
