First off, as a note to mods, I am not trying to advertise here with this, I am asking a legitimate question that I have not been able to find the answer to. To all those reading this, do not ask me about the products on my page unless by IM. This is a tech forum and needs to stay that way. Now that that is out of the way..... I am working on a facebook page for my "business." I need to find a way to post text on my page to describe what is available. I have tried entering the text into the "about" section, but it does not display, you can only see the text if you click on the about link. If the firearms are not available to me I use blue guns. I'm far from a Facebook expert and they've made so many changes to the site I'm not 100% sure how to do what your asking. I checked a few pages I liked a long time ago and none of them really display anything like your asking. You have to select the About button to see any info.
Only suggestion I could make would be to edit the picture you have with maybe a smaller photo with white space and fill in the info you want. It's the only way I can think of off hand to show what you want all the time. No idea how it would look though. |
| You probably need to make posts about it. With Timeline the whole FB advertisement on your pages got screwy. You might need to do what other sellers do and that is make an image (via PowerPoint/Photoshop) of a list of your wares and then post that image. The "About" section really isn't the place for its hidden for the most part. |
