I keep getting this little window popping up with "Windows - No Disk"

Then "Exception Processing Message 0xc000000013 Parameters (Not sure how many zeros were there)

Then under that is two lines with a bunch of 0x000007FEG.............

Is this a hard drive issue?

PC is only a little over a month old.

Thanks

Sounds like a dying hard drive to me. Does it ever boot ok, or is this every boot? Does it take a while to happen when it is working?

I would say it takes a while because I usually don't turn the PC off.  Just see it sometimes after I log on.

Do you have a printer or device attached that has a slot for SD cards or the equivalent?

The only thing that gets plugged in frequently is my iPod.  I have an external HD that backs up files.

Other than that, just the usual things.

Since I plugged the iPod in, it hasn't popped up.  I will have to experiment with that.

Google sez (And I Believe It) that you probably had a portable hd of some type plugged in, when you last shut down the machine.
Upon reboot or restart, Winders attempted to reattach said device. Not finding it, It Complained.

HD is not dying. Maybe.

Time to make another backup, just in case. 2 is one, One is none, don't you know?  (87 is too many, for this job.)

IIRC, Every time I log on the external HD pops up and says it's backed up x number of files.

I hope the machine is in good shape.  It's barely over a month old.
