What exactly would a blue blinking DS light mean on a Ubee modem? It just started happening today. All of the other lights on this modem are fine or doing what they are suppose to be doing. Hell I even still have internet access and have had no slowdowns in speed or anything. Normally this light is a solid blue...but now it is just flashing/blinking blue. Anything i should be worried about? And what the heck does DS mean anyways?

DS Generally stands for downstream. Most modems I work with only blink the DS while establishing a downstream connection as part of syncing up.

That's not happening with you because you still have connection. Is it always blue? Sometimes yellow?

TBH I'm not sure. You could check the modems manual. Might signify channel bonding if its a cable modem.

Well I got this when my family went over to this new package Comcast offered us. I ended up getting a new modem along with it. I know they had to connect some new wires to it and such. They appear to be phone lines from the looks of it. Sorry if my description is not helping. I'm not computer literate I suppose. And yes this DS light is usually suppose to be a solid blue.

Its a VOIP modem then. Stands for voice over IP. Basically it runs your phone and internet. I'd consult the manual or Google.  I wouldn't worry if its working properly.
