I need some recommendations for hardware for a set up as described below. Alternative hardware configurations can also be considered, given the objective of providing cam footage from the barn to the house.

-IP cams must have night vision capabilities with IR illuminators
-IP cams must be weather sealed and durable
-IP cams do not require sound mics
-Barn Router will be shielded from rain but not heat, cold, humidity, etc.
-Barn Router will not have unobstructed line of sight to the house because of metal barn wall.
-Antenna (if separate exterior mount) for barn router can be mounted on the exterior but will be exposed to all elements (rain, high winds, snow, etc)
-Span between barn and house is 150 ft direct line of sight with no obstructions
-House router A can be inside, in a climate controlled environment
-House router antenna (if separate exterior mount) can be mounted on the exterior but will be exposed to all elements (rain, high winds, snow, etc)
-All hardware needs to be compatible

Any recommendations for a router that will withstand the elements?

on your night vison requirement ..

i have learned that the ones that have the LEDS that light up red < visable light > work ok,, UNTIL you turn on a light in the area being viewed.,. then the video whites out due to the light.. on a good night the color is greenish.

on cameras that have the IR leds that DONT give any visable light...   suck as a stand alone .. BUT pair them with a light...   even those energy saving spiral lights and every thing looks CLEAR and in black and white.

thats all i have to add.

if you have money to work with the above might not apply since i grabed from the bottom of the barrel to play with.

here are some examples..

these one has IR led that light up..
on a DARK night it actually looks GREAT..  intruduce light into the pic and it washes out..

this one has IR leds that DONT light up and are WORTHLESS after 2 feet..    but its hard to believe  but the light in this pic is just enought to find your keys if you hold them up ..  i love this camera for this reason . in the pic it looks like there is a bright ass light on..

all I can think of is that they use a diffrent IR spectrum..

hope this helps in some way  .

edit

if the pics dont show up i will rehost them and repost later tonight

edit:

ok rehosting is done.

Outdoor Access Points / Client Bridges

I've used a lot of their stuff.
