For all the people who run MSE for AV you should look at downloading the latest release. It has better firewall integration with SPF and a better engine for malware. You can upgrade right over the old MSE. For everyone else who uses AVG or Avast, you should check out MSE. http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ |

The weird parts for me were: 1.) It didn't show up in the Tuesday update. B.) It wouldn't update from inside MSE 1.0.2498.0 when I hit the 'Upgrade' button. It said there were no upgrades. The link provided above d/l'd the upgrade and installed in W7/64 with no bitches. tucansam: You got that error from the link?  Just when I think Microstuff gets their poop all in one pile.... |
