It failed to install and restart my system about two weeks ago.

I just checked online and sure enough, people who DID have it install were unable to restart.

The question is, if it failed to install, why does it show up on my list of updates that are able to be uninstalled?

Should I go ahead and make sure it is uninstalled?

Are you on a 64 bit system? If not it isn't going to be useable. I'd just leave it there unless it's causing problems.

(Unless someone here who knows what they're talking about says otherwise.)
