ok first of all this has got to be the most fucked up shit ever.
wtf is "domino" wtf is the deal with all the slashes? how can I test basic connectivity to the server? I have been given the data to use for these settings: notesID, notesPassword, notesShortName, notesName, mailDirectory, homeServerName, notesMailDomain but theres TONS of slashes and data that I have no idea what it means. including it all in the settings gets me nowhere. |

Domino is their email product. Notes and Domino can be used together to double you frustration level. (It might even be exponential) Don't remember any syntax and I'm sure it's different. Take up drinking. It will help. |

My state agency still uses it... for everything (e-mail, calendars, cost accounting, project tracking, remote access, etc.). I don't have any choice but to use it.  (But, thank God, only as an end user....) |
