I'm looking for a 32gb micro sd card for my droid x. Will I notice much of any difference using a class 2 over a class 6 memory card?

You should notice a speed difference assuming that the Droid's bus isn't a bottleneck on the ~6MB/s performance of a Class 6 SD card. I can't speak for the Droid specifically as I don't own one.

The difference is quite noticeable in my Panasonic camera when saving stills... So if you have a decent camera in the Droid, you may see a speed difference there.
