I just bought a Rosewill RX-DUS100 HD docking station.  I wanted to take advantage of some 80 G SATA drives I had been gifted.  I connected the device to my laptop running XP, and while I can write to the drive and read, the drive capacity shows as 1.98 G, when the drive is clearly a 80.0 G.  This happened on two drives I plugged to the device.

The user manual sucks, and Google did not turn up any discussion on this issue.  Manufacturers website was not much help either.  Any ideas?   Thanks

I have been playing around, and it appears the entire drive can be read.  The problem was the drive had Linux previously installed, and even though I formatted the drive, the partitions created under Linux still remained.

So I solved my problem.

When you reformatted what ended up being your total drive capacity?

The formatted size should be about 74.5Gb.
