I need to get a wired router.  I don't have clue what's good or bad.

The router will be hooked up to Verizon DSL, a PC, and a Wii.

Any brands I should stay away from?

Thanks

Your best bet is going to be a Linksys.  The most popular is the WRT54G.  It's wireless, but that feature can be disabled.  It runs around $40 to $50 or so.

If you just need a plain old wired router, Ive had excellent luck with this D-Link, for $40 you cant go wrong. I've installed two of them over the last few years and one is still up and running at my mom's place right now.

Otherwise I always say get a Linksys WRT54GL and load it up with DD-WRT, or get two of them and use one in bridge mode like I'm doing.
