Posted in GD;no responses.

I ran rkill and it killed my antivirus program provided by my ISP;then I couldn't get on the net.What gives?

Probably one of those required processes. Might want to call and ask your ISP, but lots of them have required programs or hotel pages that store info on the machine before it lets you on.

But why would rkill ID it as malware?The program is f-secure.

have you restarted, did it come back on startup.

if not reinstall

Yes it came back on restart,but the question remains:why would it flag a legit antivirus as malware?
