dang, there is a cool program I used to have that will make a usb bootable..

you run the software and point it to the .iso and it does the rest...

for the life of me I can't remember what it was or find it with a search on google

and I dont remember if it was a windows or linux app.. but I'm thinking the same app can be found for either..

any ideas?

never mind,,

Installing Other Distributions Using UNetbootin

Download and run UNetbootin, then supply it with the appropriate ISO (CD image) file, floppy/hard disk image, or kernel and initrd files when prompted (see screenshot). Check your distribution's download page to find the appropriate file; if in doubt use the ISO file

Not sure what OS you want to boot, but I tried this when I was trying to create a bootable Linux USB and it wouldn't work for me.  The creator program with the Ubuntu ISO also didn't work for me (or rather, it would only let me create a read only system) and I finally found a program that worked over at pendrivelinux.com.  So if this doesn't work for you there may be other options.

I was asking the same thing 3 pages ago, but got no responses before I figured it out on my own...

Yes, you CAN put a bootable Linux distro inside of a verizon CDMA aircard...

I had google chrome os to try out and wanted to make a bootable thumbdrive to run it live...

I couldn't get it to work.. tried several times with unetbootin (which I've had success with before in the past)

I burned the same ISO to a cd and booted w/o any problems.

I will try the win7 app tonight, if I have the time

worked for me after i formated my usb to fat32

even then the program keep saying no usb found,,

then i clicked on " show all drives"  then i could select my usb          < maybe there was no need to format.. but i did ..

i now have wifiway 1.0 .iso on a usb

anyone know what that is?   its the wardrivers holy grail   and i will leave it at that .

3 minutes from go to " key found"   its awsome.
