I've got a long way to catch up with some of you guys, but thought you might enjoy a quick clip I put together.

Looks cool to me. I'm not a video expert though. I like the one of the construction site. Also, looks like a long commute to work there.

Actually the commute part was me driving home from the Texans game the other week.  That building is being built just outside my living room window.  Now that I've locked the tripod in place better, the shots shouldn't be as jumpy.  I also added a timer to the camera so instead of taking the picture at different times of day, they'll all be at noon.  That way the shadows will be less distracting as well!

Glad you liked it.

The night construction one turned out the best, IMO.

I'd consider shooting in RAW and overexposing a bit, then adjusting later.... most of your shots seem dark and underexposed.

But it's a great start to TL. Keep it up.

This time lapse stuff is very cool. I just might have to try it.

Night time section in HD 6.7mb stream

The clouds and the drive time part on the original video were shot with the iTimelapse app on the iphone.  So I expected less quality out of them.  The construction shots were shot with a 5d mark 2.  Here's just the night time clip in 720p.

I need to start paying better attention to my window reflections!!

Can't wait to try some of these in IR.....

How often do you snap a photo for the seamless looking shots?  The construction shots were too jumpy until the night shots...

I always thought these were movies and then sped up instead of single shots strung together.

I'm sure you have but checkout 599production's videos on vimeo.

I shot them about one a second.  As for the construction shots, those were taken over the course of the last 6 months.  I'll have to go and line them when the building is completed and I've got all the shots.  To many times I've needed that tripod for other projects.  Kinda hard to get things right back to where they were last time.

His stuff is amazing!!!  I've got a long way to go to get to his level.  Here's to having fun trying! [beer}
