I have several rolls of negatives that I discovered in my father's things after he died. They are of me and my siblings from birth onward, and I've never seen prints of them.

They've been rolled up in film cans for 40+ years and I'd like to get prints and hi-res scans made. I believe they'll need to be cleaned beforehand as well, so I don't feel safe taking them to Wal-Mart or a local 1 hour place. We used to have real camera stores around here but they've gone away. Any recommendations on labs for a project like this? I was going to try E6 Labs from Atlanta –– any feedback on them?

Thanks!

North Coast Photographic Services, I recommend their "Enhanced Scans," IMO it's worth the extra cash for them over their budget scans.

ETA: No experience with E6 labs, but this who I've always used with great results.
