haven't been able to get a gun to scan right. gonna keep tinkering though. Same here. beavo451 what kind of All-In-One are you using? It's a Canon MP830. Took it off of a friend who wasn't using it. Of course, the images have to be run through photo editing software before they look right. |

could you take pictures of your steps to doing this kinda stuff, for some reason i just can't think of how you are making these photos turn out so good, using a frikin scanner as your photographic tool ![]() The scanner is a great macro tool. Very sharp images. Leave the scanner open and place whatever object on the scanner glass. I've only used farly "flat" or "thin" objects. Place a white sheet of paper covering the object. This is the resulting scanned image: http://tmxcww.blu.livefilestore.com/y1pSfsK2bFJAdLPEzesMVqWX-lQytpYEeW8-N7u1lYpm8cZE0OKFHTkP-uEQkQkDuPoZDGsBWdX62KIjgnKrGjyFN5ZVzM09Nt0/scan1.jpg After cropping and straightening in PS: http://tmxcww.blu.livefilestore.com/y1pAwW32zrNvOMB_IH45W94XCVTPlSSsu0rEw3N_ee8tvR-c2yYXGI7xi3UvpPDaMYcYtzz20T1NSB0XApMcbq1QJF-5sKvXETb/scan2.jpg After curves adjustment and slight sharpening.
