My wife and I are looking to upgrade from a mini-VHS recorder to a digital. We're looking for: 1. Middle-of-the-road (mid-upper maybe) quality. We'd obviously like our money to go the farthest. 2. Ease of use 3. Hopefully good enough to not be outdated by the time we get a good computer for our 3 year-old and 4 month old (we're holding out as long as we can). If someone doesn't wish to offer a recommendation, where might one look for answers (Consumer Reports, etc.)? Thanks, Scott |

Panasonic camcorders seem to get a lot of good press. Check here for starters: www.camcorderinfo.com Another one (it's mostly for digital cameras, but does have some camcorder reviews): www.steves-digicams.com/ HTH |
