i take alot of pictures of fish i catch but when i get home and look at the pics a 7lb bass will look like a1lb bass. what lense would show the size of the fish better.

What focal length are you using? 35mm is a "normal" field of view. If you're at 18mm it's going give you a wider field of view but it will seem to push things farther away so it can have that shrinking effect. If you use a short (like 18mm) and have the fish close to the camera and everything else farther back, you can make the fish look gigantic in comparison to the background. That's how a lot of those monster fish/dog/alligator/bigfoot pictures are done. You could also just admit you caught a 1lb bass ![]() |
