Very nice!

I'd probably stop down the aperture just a little to see if you can get just a small amount more DOF, but that's just me.  Very nice shots regardless!  I want to break out my 70-300 macro lens since I'm on my 'weekend' and see if I can get some good macro shots.

Yeah some of them were in some shady areas; I had the ISO at 1000 on some already and didn't really want to go higher. I was able to get f/10 on a few of them like the last flower shot. It was definitely a learning experience and I will be better prepared for next time.

Thanks for looking.

BTW, what camera and lens are you using?  It's always interesting to know.

That is an awesome lens. If you want to take it to another level, check out the Manfrotto 454 Macro focusing rail. Set you macro to the max magnification and then use live view to tweak your focus down to the exact spot:

Or use it for stacking exposures:

I cannot say enough about this lens.

Those are amazing photos! I would love to try some focus stacking shots like that sometime.

Thanks! The program I used is ZereneStacker. I haven't ponied up and purchased it yet but it is worth looking into.
