Hey PS3 Arfcommers,
I'm looking to pick up a headset for the PS3 tonight for some MW2 multiplayer action. Is the 'stock' PS3 bluetooth headset any good? Are there any better options in the same price range? I'd also consider getting one that may be a little more expensive if I could use it with my iPhone as well (and not look like a total fag). I'm not really big into the bluetooth phone headsets, as I'm not too much of a phone talker anyways, but the option would be nice for some longer drives. Any input is appreciated. I have this one quite happy with it I've gone through several various headsets so far. Motorolas all seem to suck, samsung WEP was ok untill it broke.
Haven't used the PS3 branded one but I hear its decent, if you want to use it on your phone though you might better off with a phone oriented one though. My Plantronics works great with my phone, I might actually pick up a 2nd so I can keep one in the car. |
| I just use the ps3 eye toy. Works great and it's only 30 bucks at most. It comes woth about 6ft of cord, just keep it away from your center channel and the output sound at 2-3. No feedback, never have to charge and never worry about looking like a douchebag with a Bluetooth lol. |
I got the Turtle Beach headset, 'cuz I only get to play at night after all the kiddies have gone to bed. That thing is freakin' awesome! It's USB powered, and both stereo game and chat come through the headset. Adjustable volume controls for game, chat and a bass boost. Surround sound all in my head! Losing way too much sleep because of this damn thing...Thank God for coffee.
